Microsoft is pushing a major update for View 3D app, which is rolling out for Insiders on Fast Ring (Skip Ahead).
What's new?
- New icon - The old icon was replaced with a cube-like icon. However, the splash screen was not updated yet.
- New design - Controls are now placed at the top of the window.
- New name - The app is no longer called View 3D. Instead, it's Mixed Reallity Viewer.
Download APPX
Below you can download the package and sideload it on your PC. Note that Microsoft didn't compiled an ARM package. I wouldn't conclude Microsoft is deprecating support for Windows Phones, especially when there's Windows 10 on ARM project going on, so the lack of ARM means nothing in my opinion when at least there should be on targeting Desktop devices. Let's wait and see.
