Mail and Calendar apps updated with a big version increment (17.8400) - Download APPX

Microsoft is releasing a new update for Mail and Calendar apps, for PCs and Phones. You can download the APPX file below.

What's new?

I would say there's a lot of changes on this update because the version bumped from 17.8218 to 17.8400. This doesn't necesseraly mean new features or UI changes, but lots of work under the hood.

I could only notice the Search box UI is slightly different. Didn't found new features so far.

Below you can download the package file and sideload it on any PC. It doesn't work on your phone.

You can also find the APPX for phones, which is now officially available on Fast Ring. However, the versions for PC and mobile are not equal.

Update: Phones now are ahead of PCs in version number. You can the latest version for your phone here.
